Do you know somebody
who lives in a single parent home or a low income family who just
needs some help getting by?
With the economy going
down the drain, these families are going down with it. But there's a
place where people are willing to help.
Share Florida is a
non-profit organization that helps get families in need some help
with the cost of groceries. It's not free food or anything but it's a
whole lot cheaper than those grocery store prices.
There are different
"packages" that you can purchase or you can buy different
items seperately and every month has a special.
For example, the
December Menu was 1.75 lbs Chicken Drums, 1 lb. Boneless Chicken
Breast Fillets, 6.5 oz. Chicken Breast Nuggets, 10 oz. Deli Shaved
Honey Ham, and 13.5 oz. Smoked Sausage with Cheese. All for just
eighteen dollars! Normally, the price of all that in a standard
grocery would be doubled!
Just go to
shareflorida.org to find your local host site and print out your
order form.
Right now, the base is
in Tampa and the closest ship out site is in Ocala but if we get
enough people to know about this, then we can get the site moved
closer to us, here in Jacksonville. So tell your friends, families
and teachers!
